  • Favàritx: scenic drive through the s'Albufera Natural Park to the lighthouse. Paved road throughout — spectacular landscape, best enjoyed in an SUV or crossover.
  • Cala Pregonda (north coast): requires a 15-minute walk from the car park. Standard vehicles can access the parking area without difficulty.
  • Seasonal restrictions: some beaches limit vehicle access during July and August. Always check local signage on arrival.

Parking in Menorca's main towns: Mahón and Ciutadella

  • Mahón (Maó): paid blue zone parking in the town centre. Free public car parks are available on the outskirts of the historic centre.
  • Ciutadella: the historic centre has restricted traffic access. Use the signposted car parks on the periphery and explore the old town on foot.
  • Sant Joan Festival (Ciutadella, 23–24 June): the entire town centre is closed to traffic. Plan your visit well in advance.
